Malcolm learned this song in 1977 while visiting Jimmy Cooper, a hammer dulcimer player from Airdie, Scotland (near Glasgow). As a young man, Jimmy would strap his dulcimer on his back and peddle up and down the east coast of Scotland, busking with his friends in villages along the way.
