By Cindy Kallet. “My Heart is Ready” is a “pitter patter song,” inspired, one evening before a coffeehouse concert, by the rhythms of rain on the gutter and by the sight of a piece of music lying on the church piano entitled, “God, My Heart is Ready.” Cindy interpreted this title to mean, “Woah, is my heart ready!!”

“I’m Gonna Walk” appeared one August morning as Cindy was . . . well, walking. You might discover that it’s not actually a very good walking song, unless you’re dragging a pile of rocks behind you.
