Two unusual slip jigs, the first one very old and the second one newly-fashioned by Grey. Irish slip jigs are normally in 9/8 time, but these two are in 18/8. This rare version of The Rocky Road to Dublin is from the repertoire of northeast County Galway melodeon player Michael J. Kennedy (1900-1978). Grey took the well-known slip jig called Drops of Brandy, rewrote it in 18/8 time, and titled the new tune Old Drops of Brandy.
