Grey Larsen’s composition Through the Woods, performed by Metamora (Grey Larsen, Malcolm Dalglish and Pete Sutherland), is featured on this LP from 1989.  The trio play hammer dulcimer, fiddle, piano, Irish flute, tin whistle and synthesizer on the six-minute piece which blends folk and classical flavors. 

Through the Woods appeared originally on Metamora’s now out-of-print Windhall Hill release, “Morning Walk.”

The other featured artists are: Phillippe Saisse, Paul McCandless, Will Ackerman, Fred Simon, Therese Schroeder-Sheker, Philip Aaberg, Michael Manring, Scott Cossu, Nightnoise and Wim Mertens.
